A recently completed custom luxury home located in Los Altos Hills, CA with sweeping panoramic views. 

 

The developer acquired the project as a half-built abandoned structure and doubled the original footprint to include a large main house and second story Accessory Dwelling Unit.

Detached Condos

A small lot condominium project located in San Rafael.  The project is masterplanned for multi-family units and is proposed as a series of detached condominiums which are meant to live like single-family homes.  The uphill slope requires a partial basement garage, which is concealed as a two-story plus attic expression.  In order to balance construction efficienciy wth marketability, each residence is similar in layout and features three unique elevation styles to create a varied streetscape.  A large common open space area is behind each home.

Custom Home

A high-end custom home located in San Jose.  The home is located on a large lot, which provided the opportunity to do a single-story modern farmhouse.  The project involved masterplanning a primary residence, a detached ADU, a swimming pool, and a sports court.

A detached ADU located in the Milpitas Hills.  The topography is extremely sloped, and so the home uses a raised deck on piers to provide exterior usable space.  As the ADU maximizes the allowable size, additional storage is provided via a walk-out basement beneath the unit.

Custom Home

A high-end custom home for a private Client.  The project is situated on a hillside providing sweeping bay views, and a narrow building envelope.  Given the visibility of the side of the home, the Client requested a dual-front facade with enhanced side entry.  Home features an attached ADU, expansive living areas, generous bedroom sizes, and a private gym.

Site improvements include a half basketball court.

A second high-end custom home for the private Client's relative.  Located just downslope of Jensen #1, this project is located on a much steeper topography.  Designed for a multi-generational living scenario, this home features an attached ADU, expansive living areas, generous bedroom sizes, and a basement level jacuzzi room.

 

Site improvements include a swimming pool.

A high-end remodel / addition for a spec builder.  The project goal was to reduce construction cost by renovating an existing home and then building an addition to meet the maximum allowable area.  The result is a lofty, modern addition integrated with a more traditional building volume.

Leghorn R&D Building

An 8,000 SF speculative Class B Office Buildling in Mountain View, located adjacent to the Google Headquarters.  

Working with an irregular site, and a tight construction budget, the design team was tasked with designing a primarily wood-framed office building while still preserving open clear spans in the lease space.  The building was designed for the interior spaces to be demised for up to 4 separate tenants.

An Interior Tenant Improvements Fit out for a large Engineering Firm in Edison, New Jersey.

A Multi-family Affordable Housing Building in the San Francisco Mission District.  The project  features three floors of housing above a series of light-industrial work spaces.

A Gut Renovation of a Upper East Side Apartment in New York, NY.

We provided the interior design, custom millwork detailing, permitting, and represented the owners through a challenging Construction Administration process.

Cricket Batting Cages

A Pro-Bono project for a local Dublin-based Cricket Youth League, sited in a Public Park, and done on a shoestring budget.

We aided the Club through the entire permitting and construction process, including securing final design and engineering drawings, materials selection, specifications.

On the construction side, we connected the club with a pro-bono GC to manage the job, negotiated discounts from subs and suppliers, and facilitated final signoffs and occupancy permits.
